Hiking the Ahornboden in Bavaria

The gentle mountains of northern Bavaria are perfect for hiking. Well maintained trails lead to a succession of huts, some of which serve refreshment. A three-hour hike from Hinterriss vial Engalm leads to the imposing Falkenhütte, open from April to October. The trail passes the impressive steep Laliderer Wall.
